Two editions are available, one for 32-bit systems and one for 64-bit systems. The program can run without problems on any Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 OS. The recommended choice for most users is Typical. If you pick Custom it’s up to you to decide which components you want to install. In Typical mode the program will be installed with the most common features only, and in Complete mode all of the program’s features will be installed. You can choose between Typical, Custom and Complete installation type. In one of the steps you will be prompted to choose the installation type that best suits your needs. The installation package is not big, and the setup procedure is quick and easy. The simplest and most common one is to overwrite the selected data with zeros, which is fast and secure. There are 6 different deletion methods that you can use, depending on the severity of the situation. O&O SafeErase promises to get rid of any file and stored information in your computer, making their future recovery impossible. If you want to delete every trace of particular files and folders, you can’t rely on Explorer’s delete function due to the simple fact that the deleted data can be undeleted after deletion, using recovery software.
